Carpet tiles in all types of workspaces can lead to a more productive workplace. They’re actually an ergonomic feature, particularly good for areas where jobs with workers who are on their feet all day (nurses, carers, doctors) causing far less leg fatigue. Carpet as opposed to hard flooring is far more suited for these types of work. These carpets are also easy to install, durable flooring and require less maintenance which leads to less disruption in busy areas.

The carpet effect- reducing physical strain from hard surfaces
Hard surfaces aren’t much fun for those who have to work on them for long periods of time. They place a lot of strain on the feet, calves and knees. The “rebound” effect is punishing, and makes people very tired. This is actually a very destructive effect over career lengths of time, and can do serious damage to posture and health if joint or muscular conditions are aggravated. In areas like retail, hard surfaces cause actual fatigue, and reduce staff performance.
