A Touch of Gold

Posted by James Howlett

Sometimes only decadence will do in the bedroom, and if you are looking to create an opulent space to rest and recline in then you can’t go far wrong using the colour gold. Although a tricky colour to use over a large area, it is a perfect accent hue and can work well with a modern or traditional design scheme. Proportion, Proportion, Proportion

So, what do you think this article might be about then? Hmmm… difficult one… well, not really! Translating this into a wall finish I am tempted to marble an end wall using some glittery and super shiny touches so that the overall finish almost moves as it catches the light. Metallic double beds backed by this kind of look will appear to be all at sea and the only safe place in the storm. Read the rest of this entry »
