Cleaning the Siding

Posted by Thanate

Siding is the outer covering of a house to protect from the effects of weather. It may be formed of horizontal boards or vertical boards, shingles, or sheet materials. In all four cases, avoiding wind and rain infiltration through the joints is a major challenge, met by overlapping, by covering or sealing the joint, or by creating an interlocking joint such as a tongue-and-groove or rabbet. When the time go along. Their would be cleans.

Properly Cleaning Your Siding
By Kathleen Whitlow

Cleaning the siding on your home can be a tough job because of the fact that you don’t want to mess it up. You most likely paid a nice chunk of change for that siding to be installed and you should keep it looking as clean and as new as possible.

The most efficient means of cleaning your clean vinyl siding is to rinse it with the hose that you use to water your garden, grass, or flower beds. Make sure to use a nozzle on the hose and to not use high pressure when beginning to clean the siding. If you use pressure that is too high it could damage the siding. By Aaron Bianchi

Febreze, is a home air freshener that smells great and keeps your house smelling great, without the pesky need for going out and buying expensive air fresheners. However, the fact that is has a great smell is not the only thing it does great! It will get rid of any type of ant problem you have and it works fast, all you have to do is just spray the Febreze onto the area you want to get rid of and presto, they all die instantly. So hey, instead of going out and buying a lot of products that don’t work and are way to expensive in the first place, you should pull out a spray of febreze and use it on whatever bug problem you have. Although I haven’t tried it on any other types of bugs I’m betting you that no matter what you use it on, it will work.

How to Clean Stain Resistant Carpet and Cleaning Chemicals Used
By Lee Harris

What do the chemical and physical criteria mean and how does the chemistry work on stain-resistant carpet? Simply put, high pH levels (alkaline), high temperatures and/or cationic (positively-charged) cleaning chemicals can affect the integrity of stain-resistant treatments. And, high residual moisture levels may make it easier for the stain-protection system to be compromised. A brief look at how fibers and dyes work will help explain this further.

Stain-resistant chemicals are polymers – large molecules made up of colorless, dye-like monomers; thus, polymers are larger than dye molecules. Fibers are made of nylon polymer chains that open and expand in the presence of hear and/or water.
