Commercial carpets can be a joy and a curse to shop for online. Looking for good quality carpet can be a real nuisance, particularly if you’re looking for top quality. Fortunately, technology has come to the rescue of carpet buyers, and so have new concepts in carpet design and manufacturing. The idea, interestingly enough, is based on the design principles of environmentalism combined with best quality software and the hard wearing characteristics of commercial carpets.

Commercial carpets are designed to take enormous wear and tear, and that’s one of the reasons they attracted so much interest from carpet manufacturers. Market demand is for durability as well as quality. The old style broadlooms also carry some baggage in terms of the need for underlay and their very high petroleum product content. They’re not exactly environmentally friendly, which was a major catalyst for the development of sustainable carpets.
